Te Wahi Ora, a unique retreat run by women for women at beautiful Piha Beach, was recently donated a brand new Acorn Stairlift.
Te Wahi Ora is one of few women's retreats in operation and offers a safe, comfortable and relaxing environment for women to come and rejuvenate. The 2-level house is situated by the beach in Piha with awe-inspiring views right from the beachfront, not to mention spectacular sunsets. It is important to the staff that guests can enjoy the spectacular view the upper level has to offer and the only obstacle for a number of guests is the staircase.
After hearing about the struggles of many of the women coming to Te Wahi Ora, women who come to get away from other difficulties or simply to relax in the beautiful surroundings, Acorn got in touch and installed a brand new Acorn 130 Stairlift.
Beverley Holt, honourary manager at Te Wahi Ora, was delighted to inform regular guests that they no longer had to be concerned about the stairs:
“Never again will you have to crawl up the internal stairs at Te Wahi Ora or have 'minders' lowering you down each step after a meal - Acorn Stairlifts Pty Ltd have come to our aid by donating AND installing a brand new Acorn stair lift. You and others are going to be warmly and adequately welcomed from now on!” Beverley Holt
The staff at Acorn are delighted to support such an excellent charity and were very impressed to see the tireless work carried out by Beverley and the team.
